A fasinating dialogue between Pontius Pilate and Jesus Christ at his trial before his crucifiction.

Matthew 18: 36-38 “Jesus said,”My kingdom is not of this world. ..my kingdom is from another place.”

“You are a king, then!, said Pilate. Jesus answered,” You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me”

“What is truth?” Pilate asked……

Truth???

Truth: The state or quality of being true; conformity to fact or reality; purity from falsehood; a verified fact; genuineness.

Pontius Pilate: The Roman Governor of Judea from A.D. 26 to 36, whose official residence was in Caesarea, on the Mediterranean coast. (In 1961 archaeologists working at Caesarea unearthed a stone contemporary with Pilate and inscribed with his name).    Pontius Pilate oversaw the Roman Trial of Jesus and ordered his execution. 

 Jesus answered:” I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well”…….(John 14:6-7)

Jesus…Truth….Reality…
